Tyger Tiger - Character Guide

Tyger Tiger — Jessan Hoan, the crime lord who rules Madripoor's underworld in Wolverine comics lore — is Logan's anchor in the island act. The Patch disguise, the bar, the local rules of the game: all of it runs through her, and the final act's infiltration-to-war escalation happens on her turf.

Kelly Hu — Yuriko in the X2 film, Deathstrike on screen in 2003 — now voices Tyger Tiger, a piece of casting that X-Men fans caught immediately. Her Madripoor is neither good nor evil: it is a place with rules, and the story respects both the rules and the woman who enforces them.

Tyger Tiger's networks are what make the final act's moves possible, and her scenes carry much of the act's personality — the campaign saves its most comic-book-dialogue for Madripoor, and she is why it works.
